Day The First -- July 17, 2005

Wow . . . I've got a blog! This is going to be quite a learning experience, but thank goodness there are some FABriculous examples out there. And really, learning is exactly what I'm going to be doing.

It feels odd to be, in essence, writing to myself. I have to learn about blog embellishment, links, and everything. Wow. Slightly overwhelming, but I know I can do it. I never thought I'd be good enough in my needlework to participate in swaps or Round Robins. And I have, and the person receiving the item had good things to say, so I know my skills are not too awful. Besides, one thing I've learned about folks in needlework is that they are always encouraging, but if it's just not that great, ya find out real quick! But that's good, cuz constructive criticism or gentle encouragement is how one learns the best -- from your mistakes, so to speak.

So here goes.

I will always welcome constructive criticism, gentle encouragement, and friendly feedback. I just hope I'll continue to do well.
